Soup and open mic

I took Hulda and went to Nyfiket at the local member-driven cultural house/community centre in Jönköping. Every Tuesday they serve soup and fresh bread for a very modest price, and also run an open mic on the scene. Entertainers gets free food, but I chose to pay anyway.
I ended up doing three songs, first two songs before another player turned up, and then another a while later. First one was "Rebellflickan" by Joe Hill (and I mentioned that we are coming up to the centennial of his execution), then "Satelliter lär oss mera ovan där" by myself. A little later I did "Never Set the Cat on Fire" by Frank Hayes (bringing the lyrics on paper, just to make certain I didn't forget the lyrics), since there were several people in the audience who didn't speak Swedish.
Went quite well, but it was somewhat hard to gauge the reaction due to the scene lightning, and I need to get up and sing more for an audience. But I got appreciative comments from some other people in the audience and from the staff, so I will try to return on a regular basis, and not only for the food.
