Day 282: Welcome!
Apr. 30th, 2006 09:05 pmAt 19.22 on April 29th Hulda Linnea was, well, maybe not born, but we finally got to meet her.
I will spare everyone the grisly details, but in the end, it was decided to do a ceasarian, and one and a half hour later I had her in my arms and could show her to Therese. Hulda is a lovely and healthy girl, with strong lungs that she uses only sparingly. Therese is fine, albeit tired, though she obviously has to take great care when moving.
The necessary Hulda facts:
Weight: 3660 grams
Length: 52 cms
Head circumference: 35 cms
If you leave your greetings here no later than 8 (Swedish time) Monday I'll bring them to Therese.
Many thanks to the staff at the maternity ward and the surgery team in Ljungby!
